I've been surprised by the heated commentary sparked by our post on last week's Share Our Strength event at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek --- including one response in self-defense from chef John Tesar.
What really caught our eye, though, was one reader's comment: "I hear Tesar is opening his own restaurant far from Dallas, what is the old Mansion going to do without its young creative spirit, serve tacos and tortilla soup again? Say it's not so!"
We checked it out and Rosewood Mansion PR manager Stephanie Hutson says "this is the first we've heard about it" and dismisses the comment as "pure rumor."
We've also got a call in to chef Tesar and will keep you posted.
