I have really enjoyed all of the restaurants that Nick Badovinus has had a hand in, but I LOVE Neighborhood Services.
Unlike Mr. Addison, I can speak about the service that the average diner gets - outstanding. We had a short wait after we arrived a couple of Fridays ago, and were fully entertained during that time by selecting our cocktails and watching the mixologist behind the bar at work.
Our waitress was friendly without ever being intrusive. Service was quick, but never felt rushed. My special request from the kitchen was executed wonderfully. The green chili crab dip was melt-in-your-mouth yumminess.
I was also impressed by the lighting. It seemed as if everywhere you looked there was a light fixture, but their muted glow served to bathe the whole room in a soft glow that felt warm and comforting.
I will definitely venture north of my neighborhood again soon to go to Nick's.
