minetto novello 2008.jpg Aw, isn't that label just the cutest thing? That's Mionetto Novello, an Italian answer to Beaujolais nouveau, made with 100 percent merlot from the hill country north of Venice. The "new" wine is a fresh, young, cheerful red, and the price is right: $10.99 at Jimmy's Food Store, Fitzhugh at Bryan. Co-owner Paul DiCarlo has just 10 cases, probably fewer now.
