At my neighborhood Albertsons: Halloween-themed pumpkin Peeps. We're more than two and a half months away from trick-or-treat time. Is this last year's Peeps hauled out of a warehouse? Seems unlikely. But neither does it make much sense that these are this year's model. I know marketing pushes holiday shopping earlier and earlier. But this is crazy... |

Isn't it true that some folks like to eat their Peeps *stale*? I've read a lot about this strange confection fetish. Perhaps with this Halloween early release, they're allowing for them to ripen in time for the holiday? :)

I watched something about peeps and all halloween candy on the show, how it's made, this stuff is made months, I mean months in advance, gross or not, it has been this way for years

We noticed boxes of halloween candy at CVS and Walgreens around the 23rd of July. Three weeks earlier and we could have used it during 4th of July celebrations.

bought my Halloween M&M's from my Albertsons two weeks ago...it sitting on my desk inside a clear glass jack-o-lantern and thanks to the pigs in my office I refill it each week...by the way..got some decorations out at my place and their out at Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Garden Ridge..Holidays are coming..can't wait....

I saw them clearing out lawn furniture for heaters and fire pits at Home Depot. Because pretty soon, it will be too cold to go outside.

Peeps, package opened and left under the bed for at least a month, take on a remarkable appeal akin to the Lucky Charms Marshmallows. It's the only way to enjoy peeps.

I thought it was just me! I was in Marshall's in Mansfield this weekend and they have their Halloween display(like Halloween is next weekend) along with the fall decor.
