Dallas chef and cooking teacher Philomena Aceto sends word that "my wonderful stuffed Italian breads are finally on the shelves. I will be in the local [Whole Foods] stores all weekend and would love to see you."

Philomena will bring bread samplings to Whole Foods supermarkets in Dallas this weekend and later in Plano:

Highland Park (on Lomo Alto): Friday, July 25 from 3-7 p.m. Lower Greenville Avenue: Saturday, July 26 from 2-5 p.m. Preston Road (at Forest): Sunday, July 27 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Plano: Saturday, August 9 from 12 noon-4 p.m.

Philomena also tells us:

The breads are in 21 WF stores across the SW region they are sold in mini packs of two flavors. The following are the flavor combos; we tried to appeal to everyone (not easy):

Pepperoni/ Roasted vegetable& garlic
Artichoke sundried tomato/Broccoli olive tapanade (grandma's original)
Spinach kalamata feta/Fig prociutto gorgonzola

Sold for a very reasonable $6.99. The product is all naturel, preserative and nitrate free, we hand make each loaf even the dough, which is made with purified water and "clean" flour. The loaves come in beautiful boxes, with the wonderful family story on each box. I am proud, we did good.

Yum! Have served these as appetizers and they were a big hit!

These breads are the best! I am so glad I can purchase them at Whole Foods. I bought a box of two for only 7.49.

These breads are amazing! A wonderful appetizer to serve when entertaining. Also great with a big salad for dinner.

They were almost out at the Greenville Ave. location. Had to settle for the Fig/Gorgonzola style - which I would not normally buy - LOVED EM!

The combo packs are a great idea, it is nice to have a variety! I've tried all the flavors and they are all fabulous! The bread is perfect with dinner or as an appetizer!

I love these breads. I served them as appitizers at a dinner party and everyone loved them. I need to stock up.
