I'd been to Himalayan Cuisine and thought it was just so-so. But Temptations sounds like it might be worth the trip to Irving.

I might have sparked the review from Mr. Addison. I was the one of the original two who posted on Chowhound and found this place. Service has been excellent every time (can be a bit slow as they are preparing your meal fresh), but is not excessive. The servers seem to be very interested in expanding the knowledge of their cuisine and are helpful in explaining what ingredients are in dishes. I too tried Himalayan Aroma on Belt Line and Northgate in Irving (were Snappy Catfish used to be) and found it to be not quite as good as Temptations. To give it a fair shot I tried Temptations again after the review and still found it to exceed Himalayan Aroma and even some local Indian establishments. This is definitely a welcomed establishment on the Dallas dinign scene.
