Reader Nga Tran has a question about a restaurant closure in the Old Town shopping center on Upper Greenville, north of Lovers Lane: Does anyone know what happened with Two Rows on Greenville? It has been a mainstay at the Village for years, and all of a sudden, it shut down last week. Even the employees didn't know it was closing! I tried emailing them at their comment email address, but it bounced back. Any Eatsians out there with an answer for Nga? CommentsE-mail entry: |

I believe it is, went to eat there and they were all shut down during normal hours.
I dont know any details though
the are opening one in Garland on TX Hwy 190?
Went there on Easter Sunday for dinner and that place had really gone down hill...
Ruth: the Two Rows website does say a new location is opening in "mid-April 2008" in the Firewheel area of Garland: 5085 President George Bush Tollway, which is indeed Texas Highway 190. Looks like the new Two Rows will be on the PGBT between North Garland Avenue and Elliott Drive. But the website has not been updated to say anything yet about the Old Town location being closed.
the boys over at Back Talk Lakewood reported it closed a few days ago
Right you are, TG -- and here is the link to their post last Friday:

not surprised... everytime I went there we had bad service and the food was mediocre. One visit they were even out of BEER... for a brewery, thats pretty sad.
Someone should tell the staff from Greenville that the GBT location is probably accepting applications....
