Way to go, Bill. Finding the guacamole bites in Thrill Alley under the throw-up rides without the map was excruciating. Were they worth it? Eh. Fletcher's original corn dog slathered with mustard and Frito chile pie are still my favorites.

Did anyone else find the Fletcher's corny dogs not quite up to par? Does the absence of trans fats make the difference? As long-time Fletcher's lovers, my family and I felt they were definitely not the same. Tasted like any old regular corn dog to us.

The guac bites were definitely worth it. I don't like half of the fired food at the fair but those had a nice tang and spice, not just typical fried batter. The Fletcher's Corny Dogs right by Big Tex are the only and best corny dogs to buy there. Any other ones just do not cut it.
