I personally thought that the latte and guacamole bites were out-of-this-world.

Great review. Nice to get some real reviews of the fair food lineup. Will this be a yearly report?

I can't believe I watched the whole thing. Next year, we'll have to make sure you get to lip-smack another Texas icon at the fair, Frito pie.

Dole Pineapple Whip is the one thing I have to enjoy at the fair. The soft-serve pineapple treat is the perfect thing on a hot Texas day.
Besides, I can only get one in Hawaii or Adventureland at WDW.

I noticed that the fried Tornado Potatoes was not reviewed. At some events my wife and I head straight for the ribbon potatoes booth if they happen to have a vendor there. The state fair's verson is very greasy and are not crunchy.
If you like ribbon potatoes, order them extra crunchy. Best ribbon potatoes we ever had was at Grapefest.
