Leftovers: I made a grilled cheese sandwich. Used real butter. Put the swiss as the base, added the lamb, crumbled the blue cheese over the top, put the other bread on. Mashed it down flat with the spatula. Browned and turned. The rosemary flavored lamb held up to the sharpness of the blue cheese. The swiss held it all together. The slightly sweet crunchy buttery bread was strong enough to handle the load. Restaurant-worthy, I thought. And gone before I thought about grabbing the camera. |
