Maybe so. But seeing this item in the paper today made me happy. Kroger has red bell peppers on sale for 88 cents each (with card, of course). At that price, you can put them in everything from your lunch bag to your favorite salad. Or just set them out on the counter and admire them for awhile. Photo: Evans Caglage |

Last week, Sprouts Farmer's Market at Forest and Marsh had red (and yellow) bell peppers on sale, two for a dollar. Also, strawberries were 99 cents a carton. I don't understand why more people don't frequent this amazing place.
