It's official: The third Bread Winners Cafe and Bakery is open. The Plano outpost has moved into the Lakeside Market space that until recently housed Kathleen's Art Cafe. There will be breakfast, lunch and dinner daily except Monday (no dinner) and brunch on the weekend, plus all those tasty baked goods. |

Is this an improvement? That Kathleen's was great. Why did it close? It always seemed to be packed at weekends.

Sorry to disagree, but Kathleen's was awful - service was the worst. Management must have been quite bad, I saw more than one waiter showing up for work on a Saturday morning to find the restaurant closed. They didn't even tell their employees about the demise of that location. I can't wait for a more well run restaurant to take over that space.
