The annual charity event (which benefits Share Our Strength's efforts to end childhood hunger) is to be held this Sunday, June 3, at Park Place Motorcars, 6113 Lemmon Ave. in Dallas. Participants get to taste dishes from some of Dallas' top restaurants, including Stephan Pyles, Trader Vic's, The Mansion on Turtle Creek, Trece, Nove, Sushi Samba, et al. The new House of Blues will present live music, and both a live and a silent auction will be held. Among the hot auction items: Chef Pyles' 10-course tasting menu with paired wines, and a private Pyles cooking class for four. Guests also can bid on a race horse, a Kentucky distillery visit, a meal for 10 from former royal chef Darren McGrady, restaurant certificates and NASCAR goodies. For tickets, click here. |
